The losing streak is finally over

Bohemians earned their first point under the new coach

The losing streak is finally over

The 21st round home match was the first for The Bohemians under the lead of Jozef Weber. The opponent was this time Hradec Králové, which had 4 points more in the table than the Kangaroos.

Bohemians entered the pitch in new 4-5-1 formation. Martin Nešpor was the target man, who was the centre of the attention because of football misbehaviour. It was just 10 minutes from the start of the game when he fouled the goalkeeper and got a yellow card.

The Bohemians dominated the first half possession; they combined on the floor and didn’t allow Hradec to the game. But not a single bigger chance occurred.

It was Jindřišek, Borek and Abraham who shot from mid-range but the shots were all wide. The biggest chance came just a moment before the half time when Bartek headed the ball to Nešpor who was left one-on-one with the keeper but missed the chance. This was one of the last things he contributed on the pitch because few seconds later, after tackling one of the opponent, he got second yellow and was sent off by the referee to the changing rooms few seconds before his teammates.

The first half ended 0:0 and the kangaroos were expecting hard challenge in second half by playing one man down.
Hradec started the second half sharply, when they had a chance to score but Radek Sňozík saved Dvořák’s effort. Abraham appeared in few chances for Bohemians side. First of all, his shot, after the corner kick, went wide, and the second chance came after the free kick taken by Budínský.

The end of the match brought chances for both sides. It was Zelený for Hradec and Vyhnal, combining with Cseh, for Bohemians. The final result 0:0 gave Bohemians a first point under the lead of the new coach.
