The losing streak finally over

The kangaroos can celebrate a win after a 17 match wait.

The losing streak finally over

The coach Weber decided to make radical changes to the line-up for this match. The defenders this time were Ptáček with Borek and Josef Jindřišek. There was also a first ever appearance for Orolín in a pre-match line up.

It took only 7 minutes for the revamped team to show their quality. Abraham and Jindřišek set up a chance for Nešpor to score but the goalkeeper saved it. Sňozík, at the other end, saved Šlapák’s shot.

It was the 15th minute when Šumský took a free kick which landed on Abraham’s head, who made no mistake and Bohemians could celebrate the first goal of the match. The chance to equalise could have come right after but Krejčí missed the goal by centimetres. It was again Abraham who appeared in front of the goal with another chance to score but didn’t. The next Příbram chance was on the feet of Mišůn, but Bohemians’ goalkeeper caught it.

The counterattack after Mišůn’s show off offered a chance to score for Bohemians. Sňozík passed the ball to Nešpor, Nešpor to Moravec, Moravec to Šumský, Šumský back to Nešpor who had a shot which changed the the outcome of the match. 2-0 to Bohemians.

But this was not enough to satisfy the rampant kangaroos. Just a moment after the goal, Nešpor was in another goal chance, but Hruška had it. The same happened to Orolín and on the other end of pitch to Šlapák.

The second act started well for Bohemians. Chance by chance for Bohemians. It was Orolín, then Nešpor again.
Příbram had a 100% chance to score, when Šlapák threw away a goal chance from a goal line.

The 60th minute brought a substitution for Bohemians when Hartig went on the pitch. He appeared in two chances.
First, after a cross from Růžička, but his header was saved by a keeper, then after a pass from Abraham he tried to lob the keeper but the keeper reached for the ball.

The losing streak is finally over. It took nearly 7 months for Bohemians to win. They beat Příbram 2:0 and got away from relegation positions.
