Pardubice beat Bohemians

The match started at an unusual time, Saturday 10:15am. Jozef Weber decided to bet on the same line up as last week and the first chance for Bohemians came right after the first whistle. Bartek took a shot and scared Sehnal in a goal, but he caught it.

The next 30 minutes were mainly in hands of the home team. Bartek crossed the ball but Jirouš and Potočný didn’t reach it. The punishment had to come. It was 27th minute when Javůrek found a cross from Přibyl and he sent the ball to Sňozík’s goal and the home team took the lead.

And it could be even worse. Rada’s pass was stopped by Petrus, who went straight on goal, passed the ball to Sklenář, who was one-on-one on goalkeeper but Sňozík showed some skill and it was a corner.

Fifteen minutes before a half time, it started to rain, which woke both teams up. Jan Moravec had a chance, but his header was not accurate. Javůrek, the player of FK Pardubice, also had a chnce, and his great shot was stopped by amazing Sňozík.

Last five minutes of the first half was full of chances for Bohemians. But nothing ended in the goal.

There was a substitution at the beginning of the second half. Rada went off for Šumský, and the expectations were high. Bohemians had more of a possession but didn’t score and FK Pardubice, after their first bigger chance in second half, scored another goal and their lead went up to 2:0. Hundák was the one who scored.

Pardubice was on the ball more than Bohemians. In 68th minute, all the saints stood behind Bohemians, when nobody who were in the penalty box, Hundák, Petrus and Sklenář, scored. It was just because of Sňozík and luck that Pardubice didn’t scored.

20 minutes before the final whistle, Bohemians had a chance to lower the goal difference. Potočný crossed to Jirouš, but he missed form a penalty spot. It was ten minutes later when Vyhnal, Bálek and not even Kalina scored from a penalty box.

The final score could have been even crueler for Bohemians. Hundák had another two chances to score. First, he tried to chip the goalie, second was a shot but Sňozík had it. Final score of the match, 2:0.
