Bohemians back in the lead

Bohemians went to Olomouc to play their 15th round there against the home team 1.HFK Olomouc. Coach Weber had some complications setting up the defensive line. Martin Cseh is still injured and Kalina is out for one match for too many yellow cards. Michael Žižka was the one to return to the A team after a long break.
Nobody could imagine a better start of the match. It was just the 4th minute when the keeper Šrom punched out Moravec’s cross and the ball got to Jakub Rada who headed in and changed the score to 1:0.
The attractive football continued. The home team was counting on the tall attacker Žondra and the dribbler David Kobylík up front, sending all the balls to them. Kobylík was the one who took a dangerous free kick which was just wide. Sňozík showed an important save just a minute later.
Šimko crossed the ball to the penalty area and Ptáček’s defensive header went on the goal and Sňozík saved it. Bohemians had another chance around 20th minute. Rada took a corner kick, the ball found Bartek who had a shot in the iddle of the goal, but keeper caught it.
David Bartek appeared in another chance in 24th minute. Martin Jirouš found him behind the home defense and Bartek went one-on-one on the kepper. The home keeper was more successful. On the other side of the pitch, it was Čtvrtníček who found the tall attacker Žondra in the penalty area, passed him a ball but the ball deflected from his leg and went on the goal. Sňozík reacted well and saved it. Moravec didn’t surprise Šrom on the other side and Bohemians went to the cloakrooms after winning the first half.
The second half started with a big pressure from HFK and Korčian got a chance in the 3rd minute. This time it was Sňozík who won the one-on-one situation. Kobylík was next who attacked the away goal but his cross, heading to the goal, ended in Sňozík’s hands.
The defensive part of the Bohemians team was mistakeless in the second half and Sňozík didn’t have that much work. HFK players didn’t find a way to go through the defense and their pressure decreased. The end of the match was in hands of Bohemians nad they controlled the game.
First bigger chance for Bohemians on the second half came in 71st minute when Moravec got a pass from Šiml and his fast shot went just over the top corner of the goal. But then Bohemians finally got what they wanted. Jakub Rada took a corner kick, found Jiří Ptáček’s head and Ptáček finished it. 2:0 for Bohemians.
Immediately after the goal, Žondra got a precise cross from Kobylík and got a chnce to lower the goal difference. But Sňozík didn’t let him score. Bohemians survived the final pressure and won 2:0 which means a move up the league table to take the top position.
