Draw after a dominance of Bohemians

Goalless draw against Jihlava

Draw after a dominance of Bohemians

Bohemians invited Jihlava to Ďolíček during 11th round. The stadium went through a major change. The trees behind the home stand were cut down. Jakub Rada was missing after receiving a 4th yellow card in last match. Radek Šírl was injured and was replaced by Kolář.

The left side created the first chance of the match. Jan Moravec tried to score but Blažek didn’t let him. Jihlava reacted immediately with a counter-attack, Masopust got into a shooting range but hit the ball over the bar.

Jihlava, which didn’t get a single point from away matches this season, defended well and kangaroos had a hard time creating any shooting positions. It was 15 minutes after the kick off when Blažek had to show some goalkeeping skills. Petr Nerad crossed the ball and found Jan Moravec, his shot was deflected by Šourek and two other shots were also saved by the keeper. Another chance came after a corner kick when Kalina missed the target by millimeters.

Lukáš Masopust showed some dribbling skills, but his way to the penalty area was stopped by David Bartek. And it was him as well who created another chance when he crossed the ball to Matěj Štochl, but his try ended in hands of the keeper.

Last bigger chance by Bohemians in the first half was performed by Jakub Hora after a pass from Jindřišek. Hora’s first touch went just wide and both teams entered the cloakrooms with a goalless draw.

The second half was mainly in hands of the home team. Jaromír Blažek showed how he played 15 years ago and didn’t let Bohemians to send the ball behind his back. One from the category of more dangerous shots he saved came from Petr Nerad.

Next big chance by green and whites was by Jakub Hora. Unfortunately, it was Jaromír Blažek who was on the right spot. It was also luck which helped him a minute later. Nerad passed the ball to Bartek who missed an opened goal.

The pressure of Bohemians was higher and higher. 4000 spectators created a great atmosphere and the visitors did not create any bigger chances. But Blažek’s goal was cursed. Petr Nerad couldn’t finish another chance and after he sent another great pass to Ndiaye, who didn’t score as well, he was announced the man of the match. Jihlava did not score the first goal ever in Ďolíček but bringing a point for a goalless draw.
