David Bartek scored an equalizer after a minute of his play

The Kangaroos went for their last away match before the winter break. The opponent Dukla invite the team of green and white colour to play at Juliska stadium, located in Prague. The fans of Bohemians came in big numbers and created a home environment for our team when they outnumbered the home fans.

Favourites were the players of the home team this time and they proved it since the start of the match. They attacked frequently, mainly from the left side where Martin Kolář replaced Radek Šírl because of an injury. Martin Berkovec showed his skills once again and nothing came behind his back in first 20 minutes.

The first chance for Bohemians came in 23rd minute when Petr Nerad took a shot after a corner kick. The ball went wide. Martin Kolář got injured after 30 minutes of the play and had to be replaced by Růžička.

At the end of the first act, Bohemians had a chance to score. Jakub Hora took a free kick, found Jakub Štochl who put the ball over the bar.

The second half looked very similar to the first one. Possession was on the home side but Bohemians’ defense did not make a bigger mistake. Neither Hanousek nor Pospěch scored after promising chances.

A crossbar of Berkovec’s goal saved the keeper after an hour of play when Vorel tried to lob the keeper.

The pressure of the home team culminated with a goal in 70th minute. The best home striker Zbyněk Pospěch got an accurate pass from Romera, lobbed the keeper and managed to score.

Josef Weber reacted immediately and sent David Bartek on pitch. The fresh midfielder spent only a minute on the pitch and proved that the decision of the coach was right. Jakub Rada crossed a ball, found David Bartek who scored an equalizer.

The home team put all their effort to change the score again in last 15 minutes of play. Josef Marek was sent on the pitch, his header went wide and the same happened also on the other side of the pitch when Jakub Rada took a header. The match ended 1:1 and Bohemians takes an important point from an away match.
