One goal have decided

Both teams were at the similar position at the league table and a win would mean a position securing a European league. Everyone expected an even match.
But the first half indicated that the home team is a slight favourite. However the first chance was for Bohemians. Bad touch from Tavares meant a good ball for Mikuš, he passed the ball to Bratanovič, who went through the left side and his technical shot was stopped by the last player, keeper Hruška.
Boleslav answered immediately when Bořil got a deflected ball from a corner kick and his shot looked very similar to the one seen just seconds before by Bratanovič and keeper saved it.
Not much happened for many minutes after that. None of the chances were any dangerous and both keepers did not have much to do. And also the first and only goal looked alike. Discreet cross ball from a free kick ended at Tavares and he sent it towards the right post. It looked like Švenger saved it, from a distance, but the truth was different and the ball ended behind his back.
The chance at the beginning of the second half was probably the best Mlada Boleslav had so far. Bartl was left alone behind the defensive line and a deflected ball got to him. He managed to send the ball towards the goal and thanks to luck and many inaccurate clearances, the ball went out.
Mosquera was close to score a goal during the 54th minute but he wasn’t ready after Rada’s cross ball. He only touched the ball without any indication of aiming.
When there was any chance, it was usually after a mistake in defending. Jindřišek didn’t talk enough with Krch at 67th minute and prepared the ball to Ďuriš who sprinted towards the goal from the middle line. He stopped the ball, sent a pass to Skalak but Pauschek jumped into his shot and saved the situation.
The rest of the match was a compilation of rashness of the home team and impotence of the Kangaroos, who didn’t manage to push towards the goal and to have a shot.
Bohemians going home without points and they are losing the 7th position at the league table.
