Keeper Zlámal equalizes in overtime

Kangaroos went to play their first season derby. Their opponent was Dukla. Roman Pivarnik sent Akulinin in front and Škerle returned into defence.

The match was even since the very beginning. Bohemians started actively, they played high on field and it all resulted in a great chance in 11th minute when Bartek sent a ball to Pauschek, Pauschek got into the penalty area but unfortunately only hit a back post.

Bohemians showed a good signal during 18th minute. Čížek went to play a corner kick, passed the ball to Jirasek and he sent an immediate cross ball to penalty area to Bartek, Čížek got ready on the edge of the box but his shot went just wide.

Dukla got into their first chance 3 minutes later. Zlámal showed a good save of a header at first but he wasn’t tall enough for a second try of Dukla. Happily, the assistant referee waved offside and the goal of Dukla was disallowed.

The home team got more from the game after a refreshment break, Tomáš Berger respectively. Firstly, he hit the post in 37th minute and then in 43rd minute, Berger scored from a close distance after a bad deflection. He was even luckier one minute later when he sent another deflected ball behind Zlámal’s back to make it 2:0.

The second half started with a chance of Beauguel. Zlámal, face to face with a striker, didn’t make a mistake and saved it. Dukla, then, played a series of corner kicks but Zlámal was always on the right place.

Bohemians situation was not looking any good until 71st minute. Kangaroos, Jindřišek namely executed a penalty kick and lowered the score difference to 2:1.

The players in green and white got back into the game. Jirasek took the ball through the middle and hit the cross bar with his weaker leg in 78th minute. A great pressure in front of the home goal didn’t finish as a goal even after three deflections. The end of the match was close and Bohemians executed two corner kicks, keeper Zlámal was called up in front to help the team.

And it was him who was important for the final score. In a last possible moment of the match, Zlámal got the flying ball and became a hero for all the Bohemians fans. He equalized with a header and decided the match.
