Crossbars and goal posts to take away points

Ďolíček is saved for future! The pre-match atmosphere was breathtaking, the winners for the day were given. It was also Vladimír Hric who made his comeback to the stadium after the brain stroke, he went through few months ago. The supporters did their match job even before the start of the game and match had no reason to become.

Both sides started very carefully, no chances appeared on any half and most of the play happened around the middle circle.

It was Schick in 11th minute who woke the game up. He passed the ball to Hubínek who took a shot and hit the bar. First of its kind of today’s match. Next chance came after 30 minutes of play when Mosquera ran up and moved the ball to Schick. Schick went on the keeper but Koubek deflected the ball away to the corner.

Even after the corner kick, Bohemians stayed active and pressured Liberec on its half. It was Mosquera again who instrumentally sounded another 2 posts. Colombian winger sent a shot which deflected from a left post to the right and away from the goal line. From the latter pressure, it was Acosta who shot and caused some hard time to Koubek, who deflected it again to the crossbar to make it sound again. This was all from Bohemians side for the first half and Liberec took the possession. And unfortunately they were successful straight away. Sackey got the ball after a corner kick and shot from a sharp angle. His shot was accurate, aimed for the far post and into the net.

The second half possession was again for Bohemians, however the pressure didn’t bring any goal. Most of the chances finished before they started which suited Liberec, which had no reason to rush. It all was split into pieces due to many substitutions and delays. First bigger chance came nearly at the end of the match when Čížek worked on the right side and passed the ball to Jirásek. Just to confirm today’s symphony, he hit the crossbar again and left the match with the score 0:1.
