Bohemians got promoted after an exhibition match win of 5:1 against HFK Olomouc

We are back in the First League!

Bohemians had one target to achieve in this week’s game. They needed to get a point to get promoted. Kalina appeared back in the starting eleven and Štochl started as an attacker. Those were the moves which meant to bring us the so needed point.

The first minutes of the match were without any bigger chances. Olomouc defense was strong and Bohemians could not get through.

The twentieth minute began with a corner kick. Budínský crossed the ball to David Bartek and his header, touched by Šmíd, ended in a net. Just five minutes later Jan Moravec sent a great pass to Budínský, he chipped the ball over the keeper and scored another goal. 2:0 for the home team.

Olomouc had also some chances. It was around the 30th minute when they David Kobylík twice crossed the ball in front of the Bohemians goal. Havránek jumped and saved the first, the second was stopped by Šmíd.

Bohemians back was everywhere. Three minutes before halftime he got a cross ball from Lukáš Budínský after a corner kick and headed it into the goal. The halftime score looked very promising for the home team; 3:0.

The second half turned into an exhibition match. The Kangaroos had the possession and after 20 minutes of continuous pressure, it was Kalina who took a shot, the ball hit Štochl’s back and it went in, and the scoreboard was showing 4:0. The response came immediately. Right after the kick off, Kovář was found alone in the penalty box and lowered the score difference.

But the celebrations were not disrupted by that moment. 70th minute showed who leads the game that night. Šiml and Budínský started another combination, ball got to Rada who uncompromisingly score a fifth goal.

The rest of the match was a celebration of football. Bohemians didn’t give HFK a ball and they could enter the First League gate with 5 goals on the scoreboard. The fans can prepare for the First League which will be played in Ďolíček. The celebrations and hard work may begin.
