Zlámal saves three points in Brno

The match started in a slower pace. First brighter moment for the home team was a solo by Jugas, he offered a ball to Vavra, but he hit Zlámal who was, as always, ready.
And Vavra’s try proved to be the standard of the home team. Pašek did the same in 11th minute and Sykora in 25th.
And Bohemians had also a word in a first half. Moravec sent a fast-flying shot to Melicharek who had hard times saving it.
The best player in Bohemians squad, Zlámal had difficult times for the most of the first half. With mistakes in defense, Vavra and Sykora had more chances but both had not found a recipe how to beat the great wall with a kangaroo on his chest.
Bohemians took the initiative in the second half. They defended well and started many counterattacks. The activity started to pay out and the stands felt just relieved after a series of passes when Mosquera only hit a post.
The right recipe for Brno’s defense was found by substituting players. The coach Pivarnik sent in Lietava and Bratanovič and those were the players who decided the match. Lietava passed the ball to Bratanovič behind the defensive line and he was sure in a one on one situation with the keeper.
Brno didn’t show anything more, they were toothless and everything ended with well defending Kangaroos. Bohemians are leaving Brno with three points and with a fifth consecutive match without a loss. The new, anniversary jerseys looks to be paying out.
