Bohemians – Příbram 1:1

The series of draws continues

The home team entered the match knowing that Příbram has the worst balance of all teams against Kangaroos and their activity was obvious since beginning. It was during a third minute when Pauschek passed the ball to Bartek who sent it into the penalty area. Jirásek was left alone, but he only hit the keeper.

Bohemians continued with the pressure. Especially Schick was a big threat for a goal secured by Hruška. However, all the chances did not end as a goal. This wasn’t problem at all, because it was Schick who lobbed the keeper in 17th minute to find Bartek who had an easy task to score with a header.

Příbram didn’t give up and they created a good chance during the 26th minute. Bednář jumped for a cross ball, but his header went just wide. The rest of first half was in hands of Kangaroos. Akulinin´s shot went over the bar and Schick´s pass to Bartek as well.

The second half started with a series of free kicks of Bohemians. Schick hit the wall but the free kicks had to be repeated because Suchan left the wall too early and was rewarded a yellow card.

After an hour of the game, Schick went into counterattack. He spoiled it, when he missed the right time to pass the ball. Bednář, on the other side, also went into run, but Šmíd was ready and stopped him. Příbram´s striker stayed on the ground and delayed the game for a considerable amount of time.

The scoreboard showed the 66th minute when Příbram equalized. The cross ball into the penalty area of Bohemians wasn´t kicked away successfully by Škerle and Rezek, thanks to his experience, solved the situation well and sent the ball into net. However, his celebration was very calm, nearly none, because of his past engagement in Bohemians.

It was Schick again 18 minutes till time who appeared in a great chance. His try ended again goalless, when he hit the keeper. This was the last big chance of the match, when not even the substitutes revived the game. Both teams took a point and they are looking forward to next week´s cup round.
